Your Estate Plan Should Be Tailored To You

Estate planning is important for everyone. It is a vital component of your financial well-being. A comprehensive estate plan will ensure that your loved ones are cared for, your specific wishes are carried out, and your legacy is preserved.

A common misconception about estate planning is that all estate plans are the same. People often believe that an estate planning attorney simply checks the boxes in a software program and then hands the client a standard form estate planning document. With a good estate planning attorney, there is much more involved.

Each family situation is unique, each estate varies, each legacy goal requires careful consideration. We will take the time to get to know you, your family, your needs, and your goals and explain your options in a way that is easy for you to understand.

What Our Comprehensive Plans Include

All of our plans will include the following four key documents: 1) Revocable Living Trust; 2) Pour-Over Will; 3) Durable Power of Attorney for Finances; and 4) Advance Health Care Directive. We will also provide you with other documents to help you better understand your plan, such as diagrams and explanation letters. When you've completed your plan, we will organize it in a binder containing clearly-labeled index tabs, allowing you and your loved ones quick and easy access to your important documents.

There is no such thing as a "one-size fits all" estate plan. Even with a “simple” estate, it is all too easy to overlook issues that an experienced estate planning attorney would catch. We will work with you to create a comprehensive, customized plan that works best for your situation and meets the needs of your family.
